Business Administration & Management (BAM)


  • Objectives
  • We partner with local institutions to place long and short-term workers to provide value-added training and build relationships with individuals in order to:

    • upgrade professional knowledge and skills
    • facilitate the learning process
    • instill ethical responsibility
    • improve communication and interview skills
    • provide an understanding for responsible management and accountability.

  • Introduction
  • The first BAM training course was conducted in three universities in Chongqing and Sichuan in April 2001. Topics included International Business Development, Corporate Strategy, Mergers & Acquisitions, Finance & Accounting, Law, Development of Leadership Culture etc.

    Subsequently, the first MSI-Inside course which was integrated into the formal curriculum was launched in May 2002. MSI has since brought in 12 short-term teams who have taught more than 1,000 students and teachers.

    In Hospital Management, MSI focuses on Leadership Development, Financial Management and Nursing Management. Since 2000, over 10 short-term teams have trained more than 1,200 hospital management staff in Chengdu.

    MSI also conducts large-scale lectures and on-site group training focusing on Management Training courses in universities; Hospital Management Training in hospitals in conjunction with the Sichuan Public Health Bureau; and Enterprise Management in rural areas.

  • Current Projects
  • MSI has three annual Hospital Management trips and two MSI-Inside courses. We have been running the Hospital Management courses in hospitals in Xichang and Chengdu, and the. MSI-Inside courses to provide training to university staff and students in Chongqing, Chengdu and Mianyang. Besides, MSI also coordinates delegations from mainland universities to come to Hong Kong universities for academic exchange and intensive training.

  • MSI partners with three universities in Chongqing and Sichuan.

    In the area of Hospital Management, MSI cooperates with official bodies and associations to provide government-approved training and services to universities and hospitals.
